The area’s only volunteer organization specializing in the use of both scent specific trailing on and off lead, scent specific air scenting, and generic air-scenting dogs to search for lost and missing persons.
TASK-9 Mission Statement: To provide the community with a proficient certified search resource, which is primarily canine (K-9), and to educate the community in the use of that resource.
TASK-9 is an all volunteer tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) nonprofit charitable organization and carries its own private insurance.
TASK-9’s purpose is to provide, without cost to official requesting agencies, the services of its membership in lost and missing person searches.
