We will evaluate your dog within the first two trainings that you attend with us.

TRAILING

The method used in scent specific search for a missing or lost person. When an article is available that has the missing person’s scent on it, the dogs, either working in harness and on lead or off lead, have been trained to follow that person’s trail if there is a trail available. all TASK-9 K-9’s have trailing training.

WATER SEARCH

Using air-scenting for drowning victims suicides, and victims of aircraft, vehicle and boating accidents:• searches of rivers, ponds, lakes, quarries, and salt water
• dogs work from a boat as well as from shore

A search method for finding generic human scent. It is used in small to large
area search for missing or lost persons, children, Alzheimer’s patients,
despondent individuals, hikers, in woodland, surburban, or urban settings.

Using air-scenting at natural and man-made disasters, collapsed buildings,
floods and suspected concealed victims.

Using air-scenting techniques for forensic search, suspected deceased victims,
human remains, or extended search for unsolved disappearances.

MANAGEMENT

With trained volunteers available to help agencies develop incident pre-plans and assistance to Incident Commanders in organizing an effective state-of-the-art
search. Involving sponsorship of courses and seminars for professionals and volunteers
in search and rescue.
